Japan is very clean. This is the first idea that came into my mind. There is no foul smell, only beautiful flowers and friendly shop worker along the road that would greet you.

Japan is very clean. This is the first idea that came into my mind. There is no foul smell, only beautiful flowers and friendly shop worker along the road that would greet you.
However, there is once when I woke up extraordinary early and walk along the road, I noticed there is rubbish on the road and the dustbin smells too. Finally I realize, there is no magic in this world. Japan is clean because the cleaner work very hard and people work together to keep it clean.
I saw citizen pick up trash on the road which does not belong to them and throw it inside their house. I can hardly find a rubbish bin on the road, but Japan is still very clean. There is no magic; it is the spirit of Japanese who keep the nation clean.
Therefore I've learnt to be considerate too, help maintaining the cleanliness here. Trying not to give too much trouble to the cleaners as most of them are old but still working very hard.
It is a safe place. It is so safe that sometimes I totally forget about snatch thief or any possible danger. I know I can walk safely on the road. Very rarely I see policeman, but it is weird that we are safe from snatch thief.
Punctuality is so important in Japan. I saw people sprinting like an athlete on the staircase with briefcase on their hand, in office attire; it must be very important appointment I think. It is rude to arrive too early or late. It must be exact 5 to 10 minutes before, very precise. This is the uniqueness I find in Japan.
Throughout these 26 days in Japan, I truly experienced the culture and attitude of the Japanese. I tried to mix into this crowd of very hardworking and dedicated Japanese when we walk to take train, buying food in the convenient shop or even taking the elevator with the local people. I keep on observing the citizen here and try to feel their daily life. Too bad that our Japanese Language class is short, if only I could understand Japanese and talk more with the local people here. They work so hard every day, giving their best to their daily life. Last but not least, I would like to say “Gambateh Kudasai!” to them and myself back in Malaysia. Truly a great experience for me in Japan.
